Transform Your Ordinary Furniture Into Extraordinary Masterpieces
Painting your favorite pieces is an easy and impactful way to freshen up your furniture. With the right paint product, you have the ability to breathe new life into worn-out dressers, outdated cabinets, and ordinary tables. Whether you seek to create a rustic charm, a sleek modern aesthetic, or a vibrant burst of color, painting your furniture opens up a realm of creative expression and personalization.

Painter's tape (if necessary)
Using the right sheen for your paint project can add the finishing touch! We suggest using a satin finish for furniture that gets more daily wear and tear, an eggshell for a chalkier, more rustic feel and semi-gloss to add a more sophisticated finish.
1. PREP AREA & SURFACEÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Remove any hardware or detachable parts. Clean the furniture with a damp cloth and mild detergent to remove dust, dirt, and grease. Wipe down with damp cloth and let dry.
2. REPAIR & FILL
Inspect the furniture for any dents, scratches, or other damage. Use wood filler or putty to fill in any imperfections.
3. SAND THE FURNITURE
Lightly sand the entire surface of the furniture using 100-150 grit sandpaper. Sand in the direction of the grain until the surface feels smooth and use a tack cloth or a damp cloth to remove any residue.
4. APPLY PRIMER
Prime with C2010 Sandable Acrylic Primer especially if you're painting over a dark or glossy finish. Let it dry completely before proceeding.
5. SAND THE PRIMER
After priming, gently sand with 180-220 grit paper to ensure an ultra smooth surface for your topcoat. Wipe away any residue with a damp cloth.
6. PAINT
Stir the paint and use an angled brush to paint any detailed areas. Use painter's tape to protect surfaces or create clean lines. Use a paintbrush or roller to apply a thin, even coat of C2 Cabinet & Trim. Let dry and gently sand again (like in Step 5) before applying a second coat.
7. REASSEMBLE & ENJOY
Most paint colors will require two coats to achieve full color and coverage. Some colors may require additional coats. After the paint fully dries reassemble and enjoy!
